Summary

I grew up in the film industry in the UK ( One of the best playgrounds to grow up in the world ! )
My Father & Grandfather were Production Designers / Art Directors in the UK film business , so it seemed a natural to follow in their footsteps .
( Was not easy as one might think )
Attended City & Guilds London School of Art .
My main inspiration at the time was the Artists like Roger Dean and the first heady days of the original Heavy Metal Magazine . That introduced me to those crazy European Artists
Dragon's Dreams and paper Tiger who publishers of many amazing artist in the 80's and early 90's

Worked coming up through the ranks in the film business learning the trade of the Art department & Visual Effects

Also did a little time in the Music industry illustrating concepts for Stage design for the likes of U2 , PinkFloyd , Kate Bush & many more .

Finally came back to Feature films to do Concept Illustration and Storyboards .
Moved over to Los Angeles in the late 80's ( Winter's were too cold in the UK )

During my career I have worked on over 50 films and over 30 commercials . Having worked as Production Designer , Art Direction and Concept Designer for Live Action Film , Commercials & Animated Movies .

I am a member of Art Directors Guild ( Local 800 ) as an Concept Illustrator & Art Director
& have been in the Animation Guild ( Local 839)

I have worked with some amazing people on some very fun projects, In some fun places .
Nothing beats creating fun interesting designs & seeing it Live & Move on the screen or in front of the audience and working with a team of really talented people !

I loves creating visions be they out of this world or in this world , be it from the past or the future.
There is so many things to do and see - have fun .
